Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Machalí City FC's Narcomillo Cuadra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Florinio Arbildo fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toculla's protests and gave Florinio Arbildo a yellow card for diving instead. Florinio Arbildo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Machalí City FC booed when Toculla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Perales didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcomillo Cuadra in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Cruz saved Toculla from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Narcomillo Cuadra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omar Cruz. Narcomillo Cuadra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Ismael Nazario Colimán came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Machalí City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Nazario Colimán couldn't finish the play. Omar Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcomillo Cuadra in the 34th minute of play. Narcomillo Cuadra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Machalí City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcomillo Cuadra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Machalí City FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
