The Pupio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 54 minutes into the game, Xavián Boza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Txomin Marshall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedegua's Laureano Bennet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Pedegua from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pupio FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. René Scarano hit a great ball. Victorino Oruna kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Pedegua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Espinosa to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ireno Chavarria got free with Laureano Bennet in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pupio FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
