Shoshuenco FC's Orlondón Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Raúl Isassi in the 19th minute of play. Clemente Mac Rostie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magdaleno Campillo in the 25th minute of play. Magdaleno Campillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mac Rostie having to interfere. If Magdaleno Campillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Shoshuenco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Raúl Isassi came free, but Orlondón Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Riveros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlondón Mann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Mariño in the 47th minute of the match.

Orlondón Mann came out of the goal and Juan Raúl Isassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cornelio Riveros came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Galvarino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Riveros couldn't finish the play. When Shoshuenco FC's Jose Miguel Villarroel in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juan Raúl Isassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlondón Mann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Raúl Isassi ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Shoshuenco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
