After a defensive mix-up in Teatinos FC's zone, Anastasio Lacunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ondino Montellano came out of the goal and Anastasio Lacunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elizalde Camposano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ondino Montellano having to interfere. Ondino Montellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elizalde Camposano in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Apolo Santa Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Darien Farias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Darien Farias struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ondino Montellano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT. When Apolo Santa Cruz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 23 minutes had been played. After 24 played minutes Teatinos FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Santa Cruz. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Teatinos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Guilisasti was slow to take the kick. During this time SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Teofilo Guilisasti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Teatinos FC's Ondino Montellano did a great save. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Darien Farias got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pepe Matamala took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ondino Montellano. Ondino Montellano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Elizalde Camposano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ondino Montellano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Lacunza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ondino Montellano having to make a save. Pepe Matamala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Manuel Liendo's late challenge caught a SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Manuel Liendo helped the player get up and apologised. When Pepe Matamala came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepe Matamala couldn't finish the play. If Darien Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ondino Montellano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Manuel Liendo was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 92 played minutes Teatinos FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Manuel Liendo. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
