Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Club Atlético Ortega's Lucas Siengelo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Odón Letelier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Eladio Henríquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute Marino Alava suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Mercé Patrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Siengelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Odón Letelier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mercé Patrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eladio Henríquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Morillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eladio Henríquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Club Atlético Ortega got a freekick which was hit by Juan Estevan Salinas. If Gonzalo Manzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Cabecera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Ortega:s goal. Gonzalo Manzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eladio Henríquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Siengelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Dattwyler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Morillo to make the kick off. Alexandre Morillo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Morillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute of the match Club Atlético Ortega got a corner. Cabecera FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Velasco Olavarrieta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mateo Fantini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cabecera FC's Mariano Dattwyler did a great save. 55 minutes into the game, Odón Letelier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabecera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Ortega the free kick. After 55 played minutes Cabecera FC got a freekick which was hit by Odón Letelier. In the 57th match minute, Cabecera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Morillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Mateo Fantini fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Club Atlético Ortega getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Velasco Olavarrieta hit a great ball. Eladio Henríquez came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabecera FC's Odón Letelier. But to his dismay, Odón Letelier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 76 played minutes Club Atlético Ortega got a freekick which was hit by Juan Estevan Salinas. Gonzalo Manzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eladio Henríquez having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Mateo Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atlético Ortega's Lucas Siengelo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Cabecera FC were the better team. Cabecera FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
