Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Huenaliben FC's Salamón L´Hotelier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Huenaliben FC from getting a goal against them. Silvio Monge might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salamón L´Hotelier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Monge ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 73 in the game by Topocho León from a close distance when the talented Salamón L´Hotelier managed to make a qualified save. Huenaliben FC's players were relieved. Topocho León fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salamón L´Hotelier having to interfere. Salamón L´Hotelier came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Paillahue AFC's Topocho León. But to his dismay, Topocho León quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Topocho León received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Salamón L´Hotelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paillahue AFC's Silvio Monge in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huenaliben FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute Silvio Monge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salamón L´Hotelier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
