Eder Lincaleo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Cumina FC's Rómulo Campos. But to his dismay, Rómulo Campos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Miliano Lizondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eder Lincaleo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Podador Massuh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Alcedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Cumina FC's goalkeeper Eric Wittemberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Montaner. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Miliano Lizondo made the kick off in the second half. Rómulo Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eder Lincaleo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomasino Carreto, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Loreto Barraza's late challenge caught a Nasahuento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loreto Barraza helped the player get up and apologised. Loreto Barraza kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
