Roger Baettig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcides Orihuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Chuñito FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adriano Raymond hit a great ball. Alcides Orihuela kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Dino Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrabas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuñito FC the free kick. The supporters of Chuñito FC booed when Barrabas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Gualberto Lincaleo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Washington Cristi skillfully saved the ball. Romano Wittemberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Alcides Orihuela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roger Baettig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Baettig came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrabas's Romano Wittemberg. But to his dismay, Romano Wittemberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With an all-out effort, Barrabas's Roger Baettig threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alcides Orihuela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miquel Bastic made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Chuñito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alcides Orihuela came free, but Roger Baettig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Alcides Orihuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Baettig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Baettig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcides Orihuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barrabas's zone, Evaristo Daniels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington Cristi came out of the goal and Evaristo Daniels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romano Wittemberg in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Baettig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romano Wittemberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Chuñito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alcides Orihuela came free, but Roger Baettig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alcides Orihuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chuñito FC's Roger Baettig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcides Orihuela in the 96th minute of play.
