Spectators: 6711 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Eufrasio Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eriberto Ibarguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Garrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes, Cristiano Garrido made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Queullin FC's Eriberto Ibarguen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Quim Font got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Montevideo's Cristiano Garrido got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Queullin FC's Epifanío Daudet got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Queullin FC's zone, Juan Eduardo Fantinatti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Ibarguen came out of the goal and Juan Eduardo Fantinatti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Queullin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Ossandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quim Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo's zone, Quim Font stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arcadio Fuente came out of the goal and Quim Font tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eufrasio Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Ibarguen having to interfere. Cristiano Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 48th minute, Montevideo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Quim Font fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eufrasio Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Ibarguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eufrasio Guerra in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Quim Font managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queullin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quim Font was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arcadio Fuente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eriberto Ibarguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufrasio Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The goalkeeper, Eriberto Ibarguen, was totally fooled by Montevideo's Zarpas Moroni, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Quim Font had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85thth minute of the game Eufrasio Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queullin FC's Eriberto Ibarguen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eufrasio Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Ibarguen was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Eriberto Ibarguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eufrasio Guerra in the 90th minute of play. Carlo Arechavala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
