When Firmín Lopetegui fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rota's protests and gave Firmín Lopetegui a yellow card for diving instead. Firmín Lopetegui hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rota's zone, Silvestre Salvatierra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Rota players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Costa ☆ Pacífico were winning 0-3.

With a little luck, Rota's Emilio Schlubach got control of the ball when Damario Contador tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Eliseo Vera notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Rota's Emilio Schlubach.
