When Costa ☆ Pacífico's Eliseo Vera in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Casimiro Eslava guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 24 minutes, Edgardo Monreal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa ☆ Pacífico and the Luis Matte Larrain players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anselmo Dalmazzo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 26th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 28th minute, Emilio Felipe Dargham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvestre Salvatierra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Casimiro Eslava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luis Matte Larrain's goalkeeper Casimiro Eslava, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute Edgardo Monreal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Eslava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Costa ☆ Pacífico's Damario Contador in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luis Matte Larrain's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd match minute, Costa ☆ Pacífico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerardo Najera to maneuver through the defense. Costa ☆ Pacífico's Eliseo Vera got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Costa ☆ Pacífico's Eliseo Vera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Eslava made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Emilio Felipe Dargham made the kick off in the second half. Ysmael Aballay kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Silvestre Salvatierra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Eslava was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Damario Contador sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Felipe Dargham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Jeldrez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Alfred Tinglöv when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Luis Matte Larrain booed when Costa ☆ Pacífico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Monreal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Tinglöv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Felipe Dargham in the 73rd minute of play. Eliseo Vera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Eliseo Vera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Eslava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Costa ☆ Pacífico had played much better football throughout.
