Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ofelio Thomas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Malvilla FC's zone, Ofelio Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Renquin came out of the goal and Ofelio Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malvilla FC's Jesus Renquin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ofelio Thomas in the 14th minute of play. Xavier Angel Bustillos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Cañones's Ofelio Thomas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Renquin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Ofelio Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualberto Alen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoro Ripamonti, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jesus Renquin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ofelio Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Ofelio Thomas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Renquin. The goal made the score 1-0. After 33 played minutes Club Atlético Cañones got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Ferari. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Malvilla FC. Washington Peredo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gualberto Alen. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Amancio Ornaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jesus Renquin. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Amancio Ornaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes, Xavier Angel Bustillos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malvilla FC and the Club Atlético Cañones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Xavier Angel Bustillos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Victoro Ripamonti made the kick off in the second half. Faustino Arregui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Cañones made a substitution. Guido Basaez replaced Eleuterio Maira. Amancio Ornaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilfredo Coloma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jesus Renquin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonso Ditzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Malvilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Coloma came free, but Jesus Renquin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Wilfredo Coloma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Cañones's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Coloma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Renquin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Malvilla FC defense, Faustino Arregui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Renquin. The Malvilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Renquin should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Vladimiro Devia in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Atlético Cañones's Wilfredo Coloma. Malvilla FC's Jesus Renquin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Coloma in the 86th minute of play. Club Atlético Cañones's Guido Basaez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Cañones's Faustino Arregui got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Club Atlético Cañones's Gualberto Alen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Cañones from getting a goal against them. Xavier Angel Bustillos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Club Atlético Cañones were the better team. Club Atlético Cañones's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
