Copayapu F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportes Puerto Montt the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Ahrens to strike the kick off in the second half. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Copayapu F.C getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Reinaldo Alvarado hit a great ball. Medero Izquierdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarracino Patau in the 64th minute of play. Copayapu F.C's Adelio Sires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Ahrens in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Deportes Puerto Montt's Benedicto Ahrens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelio Sires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Ahrens in the 71st minute of play forced Copayapu F.C's goalkeeper Adelio Sires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medero Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sarracino Patau in the 73rd minute of the match. Adelio Sires came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportes Puerto Montt's Benedicto Ahrens. But to his dismay, Benedicto Ahrens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Deportes Puerto Montt's zone, Sarracino Patau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medero Izquierdo came out of the goal and Sarracino Patau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Deportes Puerto Montt's Benedicto Ahrens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adelio Sires. Adelio Sires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After having played for 93 minutes, Caupolicán Panussi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportes Puerto Montt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caupolicán Panussi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Benedicto Ahrens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Copayapu F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportes Puerto Montt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
