The Pailad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Cáceres should have stopped the shot. Jimeno Saso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Arredondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salamón Basauri kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Eliseo Arredondo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pailad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Arredondo couldn't finish the play. Christian Cáceres made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eber Perochena sent off a good shot on target. Pailad AFC's Odilón Canales pulled a muscle in his leg after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When José Alejandro Honores fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Voigue AFC's protests and gave José Alejandro Honores a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Voigue AFC got a freekick which was hit by José Alejandro Honores. Juan Eduardo Carreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pailad AFC's Christian Cáceres got control of the ball when Eber Perochena tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Pailad AFC's Balendín Schuchardt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Saso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Maurín Oropesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Voigue AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pailad AFC the free kick. The audience was convinced that Juan Eduardo Carreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Cáceres was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Balendín Schuchardt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Voigue AFC's Joel Urmeneta got a free kick in the 79th minute. Balendín Schuchardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jimeno Saso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Eduardo Carreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Cáceres having to interfere. Christian Cáceres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eber Perochena's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Juan Eduardo Carreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pailad AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Voigue AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
