The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tinajas AFC's Sandro Pakozdy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Hagedorn in the 11th minute of play. José Luis Marquéz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Victorino Arostegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Asmussen in the 18th minute of play. Pablo Cornejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Asmussen in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Arostegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Osorno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Asmussen came free, but Victorino Arostegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Cornejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Arostegui having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Eliseo Asmussen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tinajas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Asmussen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Arostegui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Cornejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Victorino Arostegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odón Alzerreca hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Hagedorn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Hagedorn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Cornejo in the 71st minute of play forced Osorno FC's goalkeeper Victorino Arostegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tinajas AFC booed when Osorno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odón Alzerreca didn't get a good kick on the ball.
