After a rather tough play, Sibaya's Jacinto Chandia got a free kick in the 11th minute. Silvestre Zaldivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Puebla in the 12th minute of play. Lander Portalupi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nereo Andolcetti. Ismael Nazario Klickmann hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Orlondón Ahrens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lander Portalupi. Corahuano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silvestre Zaldivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Puebla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sibaya getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jacinto Chandia hit a great ball. Enzo Cumsille recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sibaya getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Corahuano's Igon Bennet couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sibaya. 36 minutes into the game, Narcís Llanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sibaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corahuano the free kick. A collision led to Sibaya getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Narcís Llanos hit a great ball. If Marciano Puebla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Puebla in the 45th minute of play forced Sibaya's goalkeeper Silvestre Zaldivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Puebla to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Toni Baeza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sibaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Corahuano booed when Sibaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcís Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceandro Villalón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes of play, Sibaya's Toni Baeza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lander Portalupi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toni Baeza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Zaldivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Puebla in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sibaya fully deserved thier win.
