Zebastian Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asier Mellibosky in the 3rd minute of play. Freddy Gröger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Isaac Partarrieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Margarita AFC's goalkeeper Isaac Partarrieu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Santibañez. After having played for 13 minutes, Freddy Gröger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A K I R A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Gröger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Segura's late challenge caught a A K I R A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of A K I R A booed when Margarita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asier Mellibosky didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Partarrieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Gröger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Santibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Isaac Partarrieu made a huge save. Asier Deramond's late challenge caught a A K I R A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asier Deramond helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Margarita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asier Deramond to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Leonides Santibañez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Partarrieu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Freddy Gröger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Santibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Partarrieu having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asier Deramond to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Freddy Gröger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Partarrieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Santibañez in the 53rd minute of play forced Margarita AFC's goalkeeper Isaac Partarrieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Nazario Venezian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Margarita AFC and the A K I R A players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nazario Venezian kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Isaac Partarrieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Santibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita AFC's zone, Freddy Gröger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Partarrieu came out of the goal and Freddy Gröger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Freddy Gröger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Gröger in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Partarrieu saved Margarita AFC from getting behind. Leonides Santibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Somoza kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Santibañez in the 73rd minute of play forced Margarita AFC's goalkeeper Isaac Partarrieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, José Marcelo Borghi made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Partarrieu. Margarita AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Teobaldo Segura was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th match minute, Margarita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Segura to maneuver through the defense. Margarita AFC's Isaac Partarrieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Santibañez in the 80th minute of play. Freddy Gröger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Isaac Partarrieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Leonides Santibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot. A K I R A's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Santibañez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Partarrieu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Gröger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Freddy Gröger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdul Couve during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave A K I R A a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ambrosio Quera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Margarita AFC's Isaac Partarrieu. 3-0. There was no doubt that A K I R A were the better team. A K I R A's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
