Plácido Claro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Zebulón Lapierre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antofazul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 24th minute, Zebulón Lapierre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 played minutes Santiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefano Señoret. After having played for 30 minutes, Zebulón Lapierre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antofazul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zebulón Lapierre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zebulón Lapierre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Plácido Claro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th match minute, Antofazul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Mahuzier to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Plácido Claro managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Antofazul's Zebulón Lapierre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santiago FC's Plácido Claro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Santiago FC from getting a goal against them. Zebulón Lapierre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Plácido Claro made a huge save. Roberto Facuse charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Olano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Antofazul fully deserved thier win.
