Eder Reole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Camilo Mendiola made a huge save. In the 30th minute Herminio Berguño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Mendiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Herminio Berguño took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Camilo Mendiola to make any attempt to save it. Alipio Cardenas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rollo Las Casas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Alipio Cardenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rollo Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Berguño made a kick off. Herminio Berguño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Berguño in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Mendiola saved L.W. Legend from getting behind. If Eder Reole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Francisco Javier Polo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Eder Reole managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camilo Mendiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Berguño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
