When Ofelio Montalva fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caleu FC's protests and gave Ofelio Montalva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Caleu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ofelio Montalva to maneuver through the defense. Seguimos FC's Conrado Yavar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ofelio Montalva, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Leovigildo Undona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Caleu FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With an all-out effort, Caleu FC's Jesus Picado threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Ignacio Dudagoitia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If José Ignacio Dudagoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leovigildo Undona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jesus Picado made a huge save. Frances Fournier charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frances Fournier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frances Fournier kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leovigildo Undona to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Leovigildo Undona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Frances Fournier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seguimos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Celedonio Conejeros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerard Gallardo. That made the score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. Caleu FC's Gerard Gallardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Caleu FC from getting a goal against them. When Alonzo Palacios fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Gerard Gallardo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mario Pinto. Jesus Picado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leovigildo Undona in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leovigildo Undona in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Picado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Leovigildo Undona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caleu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leovigildo Undona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Picado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Leovigildo Undona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Picado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerard Gallardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aitor Abusleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Seguimos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
