After a defensive mix-up in Chacon's zone, Jacob Chaparro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilio Waddington came out of the goal and Jacob Chaparro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Callejas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vicens Marsal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilio Waddington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leoncio Faivovich in the 31st minute of the match. Chacon's Ramón Gramusset got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Sergi Vicencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bocatoma AFC and the Chacon players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bocatoma AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sergi Vicencio hit a great ball. Jacob Chaparro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilio Waddington having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Bocatoma AFC's Leoncio Faivovich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilio Waddington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alarico Landi charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alarico Landi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Alarico Landi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Gramusset stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Bocatoma AFC defense, Ramón Gramusset kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicens Marsal. The Bocatoma AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicens Marsal should have stopped the shot. If Ramón Gramusset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilio Waddington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leoncio Faivovich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sergi Vicencio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. In the 70th match minute, Bocatoma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergi Vicencio to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacon's goalkeeper Teofilio Waddington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Callejas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilio Waddington made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jacob Chaparro sent off a good shot on target. If Jacob Chaparro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Callejas struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Vicens Marsal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacon. Vicens Marsal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Callejas in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ramón Gramusset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacon's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Gramusset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicens Marsal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lorenzo Callejas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
