Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Jacob Gilberto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nahuel Balut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Contardo having to interfere. Victoriano San Juan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ronaldo Contardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes Amthauer in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Collanco getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Quique Feres hit a great ball. Ronaldo Contardo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aurelius Yanque showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 34th minute, Nahuel Balut fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arnoldo Albrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano San Juan fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 40th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Jacob Gilberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Collanco's zone, Jacob Gilberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Pedro Arriola came out of the goal and Jacob Gilberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jacob Gilberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Pedro Arriola was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nahuel Balut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jacob Gilberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mellipilla's Jacob Gilberto got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Mellipilla's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mellipilla may have spent more time on the ball, but Collanco were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
