Teofilio Waddington was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavio Von Bischhoffshausen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Von Bischhoffshausen in the 80th minute of play forced Chacon's goalkeeper Teofilio Waddington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportes La Serena were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Chacon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hilario Justiniano took the corner.
