Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Rubén Carranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Reygadas in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Bernardino Reygadas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rubén Carranza. Bernardino Reygadas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Asa FC's zone, Bernardino Reygadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubén Carranza came out of the goal and Bernardino Reygadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Oliague FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Galindo. Amadeo Bettini struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Rubén Carranza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oliague FC. 29 minutes into the game, Bernardino Reygadas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rubén Carranza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eustacio Sanabria's late challenge caught a Oliague FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Sanabria helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Asa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Juan Antonio Bakovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eladio Lynch went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Fidelio Iglesias fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asa FC's protests and gave Fidelio Iglesias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Fidelio Iglesias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Reygadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén Carranza having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidelio Iglesias to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Amadeo Bettini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oliague FC and the Asa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Oliague FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Bettini to maneuver through the defense. Juan Antonio Bakovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidelio Iglesias in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidelio Iglesias in the 57th minute of play forced Oliague FC's goalkeeper Juan Antonio Bakovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Filomeno Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidelio Iglesias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Juan Antonio Bakovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asa FC's Rubén Carranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Reygadas in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Asa FC's Eladio Lynch got a free kick in the 77th minute. Amadeo Bettini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén Carranza having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bernardino Reygadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oliague FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Reygadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubén Carranza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Amadeo Bettini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Carranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidelio Iglesias struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Juan Antonio Bakovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asa FC. If Victor Hugo Ordoñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubén Carranza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Reygadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
