Jasone Monge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasone Monge came out of the goal and Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jasone Monge saved Palpaico from getting behind. When Grutas AFC's Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Teofilio Ascuí could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Delfino Droguett made a huge save. Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jasone Monge having to make a save. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza sped through Palpaico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jasone Monge. In the 47th minute Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasone Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza in the 52nd minute of play forced Palpaico's goalkeeper Jasone Monge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Palpaico's Inacio Gadano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palpaico's Jasone Monge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jasone Monge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
