Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Martín Nicolau having to make a save. In the 19thth minute of the game Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troyo FC's Francisco Martín Nicolau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th match minute, Troyo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Visen Srain to maneuver through the defense. Troyo FC's Francisco Martín Nicolau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza in the 21st minute of play. Delfino Droguett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Julio Sáez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Troyo FC booed when Grutas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Martín Nicolau was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Visen Srain hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Julio Sáez made a kick off. In the 90th minute Ubaldo Matildo Otaiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Martín Nicolau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Martín Nicolau having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Julio Sáez during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grutas AFC fully deserved thier win.
