Quique Floto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristofer Cerda having to interfere. Cristofer Cerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimír Ulloa in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Licanray's zone, Renato Camelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zebulón Galeno came out of the goal and Renato Camelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renato Camelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Zebulón Galeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Licanray's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Renato Camelo 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Cristofer Cerda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentín Labra went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Colo Colo's Simón Granado got a free kick in the 39th minute. Zebulón Galeno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Renato Camelo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Renato Camelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colo Colo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Renato Camelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ondino Falcone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Licanray's Zebulón Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Camelo in the 65th minute of play. Zebulón Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ondino Falcone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliverio Winter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Cristofer Cerda made a huge save. After 71 played minutes Colo Colo got a freekick which was hit by Angelillo Morillo. Ondino Falcone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Ondino Falcone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebulón Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ondino Falcone in the 78th minute of play forced Licanray's goalkeeper Zebulón Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelillo Morillo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentín Labra in the 82nd minute of play forced Colo Colo's goalkeeper Cristofer Cerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Licanray's goal looked a bit too open when Ondino Falcone came free, but Zebulón Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Licanray's Zebulón Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ondino Falcone in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Colo Colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simón Granado to maneuver through the defense. Colo Colo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
