Gualleco FC:s Balendín Zuloaga showed great skill when he stopped Menéndez Nil:s penalty. After having played for 6 minutes, Xabel Veliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PocosPeroLokos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabel Veliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Topocho Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Topocho Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, PocosPeroLokos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Martínez de Aldunate to maneuver through the defense. Gualleco FC's Topocho Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualleco FC's Balendín Zuloaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabel Veliz in the 19th minute of play. Romildo Campo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Christiano Aragón came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the PocosPeroLokos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Aragón couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Leonardo Maiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oriol Maffioletti was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Christiano Aragón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balendín Zuloaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Topocho Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Oriol Maffioletti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gualleco FC. Oriol Maffioletti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Topocho Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Topocho Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriol Maffioletti having to interfere. Oriol Maffioletti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Topocho Ortiz in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christiano Aragón made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xabel Veliz got free with Balendín Zuloaga in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Topocho Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Gualleco FC's Balendín Zuloaga got control of the ball when Xabel Veliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christiano Aragón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balendín Zuloaga having to interfere. Christiano Aragón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Balendín Zuloaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xabel Veliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Aragón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balendín Zuloaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of PocosPeroLokos booed when Gualleco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romildo Campo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Christiano Aragón managed to get in a good position for a shot. PocosPeroLokos's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano Aragón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balendín Zuloaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gualleco FC's Lázaro Turres got a free kick in the 76th minute. Oriol Maffioletti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Topocho Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
