Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gregorio Vergaray started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Gregorio Vergaray notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gualleco FC's Balendín Zuloaga. Balendín Zuloaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Balendín Zuloaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Vergaray in the 10th minute of the match. Gregorio Vergaray struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Balendín Zuloaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Rompe Telitas. Balendín Zuloaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Salvatierra's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gualleco FC's zone, Adolfo Salvatierra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balendín Zuloaga came out of the goal and Adolfo Salvatierra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Topocho Ortiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Odilón Didier, 2-1. After 40 minutes of play, Los Rompe Telitas's Gregorio Vergaray made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Balendín Zuloaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Gualleco FC defense, Marcos Fraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Balendín Zuloaga. The Gualleco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Balendín Zuloaga should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Topocho Ortiz to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Gualleco FC's goalkeeper Balendín Zuloaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Fraga. When Los Rompe Telitas's Gregorio Vergaray in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gualleco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Los Rompe Telitas's Adolfo Salvatierra got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gregorio Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Rompe Telitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Vergaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balendín Zuloaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gualleco FC's zone, Gregorio Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balendín Zuloaga came out of the goal and Gregorio Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balendín Zuloaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Vergaray in the 64th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Lázaro Turres notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Los Rompe Telitas's Odilón Didier. Odilón Didier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Odilón Didier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Maiz in the 77th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Inocente Hasche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualleco FC's Balendín Zuloaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Gualleco FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Vergaray in the 86th minute of play forced Gualleco FC's goalkeeper Balendín Zuloaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualleco FC's Balendín Zuloaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Vergaray in the 88th minute of play. Marcos Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Los Rompe Telitas's Gregorio Vergaray in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gualleco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gregorio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Maiz in the 97th minute of play forced Los Rompe Telitas's goalkeeper Odilón Didier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
