Colchagua's goalkeeper Antonio Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute of the match, Juan Ignacio Cornejo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antonio Koehler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 8 played minutes F.C. Colchagua got a freekick which was hit by Billy Sharp. Juan Ignacio Cornejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Unai Panzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Jose Zammit in the 19th minute of play forced Mafil FC's goalkeeper Omar Mellibosky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Juan Jose Zammit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Mellibosky was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Colchagua's zone, Juan Ignacio Cornejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Koehler came out of the goal and Juan Ignacio Cornejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanio Concha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Antonio Koehler made a huge save. If Juan Jose Zammit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, F.C. Colchagua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Cauli to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Mafil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Jose Zammit came free, but Omar Mellibosky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Nicolas Montxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Billy Sharp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Billy Sharp came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the F.C. Colchagua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Sharp couldn't finish the play. If Flavio Cauli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, F.C. Colchagua's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Hoffmann came free, but Antonio Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Ignacio Cornejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Koehler having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Sharp to strike the kick off in the second half. Billy Sharp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Mellibosky having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Flavio Cauli managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Colchagua's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Cauli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Mellibosky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Mafil FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Luna. After 63 minutes, Rafa Hoffmann made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. Colchagua's Antonio Koehler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Colchagua's zone, Juan Ignacio Cornejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Koehler came out of the goal and Juan Ignacio Cornejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Mafil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Mellibosky should have stopped the shot. The Mafil FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C. Colchagua were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
