Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xulián Puebla got the match started through his kick off. Xulián Puebla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Mellibosky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Carlos José Urquidi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Curaco's Genaro Barreau couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mafil FC. After 40 minutes, Leopoldo Jacinto Palamara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curaco and the Mafil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard and well directed shot from Isaac Palau led 41 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Curaco's Faustino San Miguel became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A collision led to Curaco getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Valentín Recabarren hit a great ball. Xulián Puebla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Mellibosky having to interfere. Xulián Puebla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mafil FC's Omar Mellibosky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulián Puebla in the 70th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curaco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Faustino San Miguel, was totally fooled by Mafil FC's Isaac Palau, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Filomeno Marx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Marx in the 82nd minute of play forced Mafil FC's goalkeeper Omar Mellibosky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes Curaco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaac Palau who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mafil FC's Isaac Palau to fire away a dangerous shot which Faustino San Miguel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Juan Ignacio Cornejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino San Miguel was a little too slow when Juan Ignacio Cornejo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-3. Mafil FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
