After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Barni Sutil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cracks F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Barni Sutil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino San Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Curaco's goal looked a bit too open when Barni Sutil came free, but Faustino San Miguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino San Miguel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barni Sutil's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Valentín Deves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentín Recabarren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Adelio Chaparro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino San Miguel having to make a save. Rómulo Fanta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Valentín Deves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Curaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cracks F.C. the free kick. Xulián Puebla hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Barni Sutil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curaco's Faustino San Miguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Cracks F.C.'s Baltazar Suloaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino San Miguel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Barni Sutil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
