The audience thought a goal was coming when Velasco Walker got free with David Israel Antonucci in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 played minutes Pua FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Daniels. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Toni Fedorov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molinero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Toni Fedorov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Israel Antonucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Firmín Panatt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, David Israel Antonucci skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 44th minute, Pua FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Firmín Panatt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Macaya made the kick off in the second half. Bertrán Santelices's late challenge caught a Pua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertrán Santelices helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pua FC booed when Molinero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertrán Santelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Molinero FC's Velasco Walker suffered a concussion in the 91st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 91 minutes into the game, Lois Ipinza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molinero FC the free kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Molinero FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pua FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
