When Jon-Ander Garay came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bodeguillas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon-Ander Garay couldn't finish the play. Delfino Monsalve hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Pablo Amaya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Irarrázaval. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. When Dalmacio Peñailillo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chictuca's protests and gave Dalmacio Peñailillo a yellow card for diving instead. 34 minutes into the game, Marcos Moreau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chictuca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bodeguillas AFC the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Chictuca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Moreau to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Juan Pablo Amaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Irarrázaval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Pablo Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benito Irarrázaval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Benito Irarrázaval stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon-Ander Garay's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Juan Pablo Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Irarrázaval having to interfere. Bodeguillas AFC's Juan Pablo Amaya got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elear Dudagoitia in the 66th minute of play forced Bodeguillas AFC's goalkeeper Severino Marrodan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Juan Pablo Amaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bodeguillas AFC's Severino Marrodan got control of the ball when Marcos Moreau tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes in the game, Elear Dudagoitia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Severino Marrodan having to interfere. There was no doubt that Bodeguillas AFC were the better team. Bodeguillas AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
