The referee showed Ignacio Rodenas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Toculla FC booed when Lota AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Rodenas didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Luis Octavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Davidovits, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Guillermo Manríquez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miguel Hernánde Oquendo, passed just outside the right post.
