But to his dismay, Danél Potts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tarapaca's Ferrando Gajardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danél Potts in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tarapaca's Rexino Nisen got a free kick in the 34th minute. Danél Potts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferrando Gajardo having to interfere. Ferrando Gajardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danél Potts in the 38th minute of play. If Eulalio Cueto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferrando Gajardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainerio Alzerreca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tarapaca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ceron were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Velasco Majeux to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Cueto in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferrando Gajardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danél Farne hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ferrando Gajardo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Danél Potts sent off a good shot on target. If Danél Potts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eulalio Cueto came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ceron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Cueto couldn't finish the play. Danél Potts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tarapaca's Ferrando Gajardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Cueto in the 85th minute of play. Ceron's Danél Potts got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ceron's Rainerio Alzerreca got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ceron played a much better game than Tarapaca and deserved their victory. The Tarapaca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
