Leovigildo Zuburu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nacimiento AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! 21 minutes into the match, Nacimiento AFC's goalkeeper Rexino Duvauchelle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sisebuto Valdenebro. In the 25th minute, Nacimiento AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Salomone Pagueguy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 28th minute, Tamariz Alert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Rutenio Azúa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacimiento AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rutenio Azúa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Salomone Pagueguy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Rogelio Waiben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞骋银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ervigio Barreau to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Bautista Almendros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rexino Duvauchelle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sisebuto Valdenebro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rexino Duvauchelle having to interfere. Rutenio Azúa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Rutenio Azúa made the kick off in the second half. Nacimiento AFC's Rogelio Waiben got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bautista Almendros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rexino Duvauchelle having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Bautista Almendros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rexino Duvauchelle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rutenio Azúa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salomone Pagueguy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sisebuto Valdenebro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 俞骋银 made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rutenio Azúa sent off a good shot on target. Nacimiento AFC's Rexino Duvauchelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sisebuto Valdenebro in the 77th minute of play. Bautista Almendros might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rexino Duvauchelle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bautista Almendros ran back to his position shaking his head. Sisebuto Valdenebro struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Rexino Duvauchelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobresal. After 86 minutes, Sisebuto Valdenebro made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nacimiento AFC's Rexino Duvauchelle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Eduardo Balmaceda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cobresal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacimiento AFC the free kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cobresal fully deserved thier win.
