Cobresal's supporters rose to their feet, but Bautista Almendros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Mandiola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salomone Pagueguy had several of the Cutihuano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benito Mandiola as he didn't even see the shot coming. 10 minutes into the game, Cutihuano's Ezequiel Arriagada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 俞骋银 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Xavier Angel Amorini hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sisebuto Valdenebro in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Mandiola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adelino Villagrán kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Andoni Winkler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adelino Villagrán hit a great ball. Rutenio Chadwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Andoni Winkler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞骋银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Salomone Pagueguy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Mandiola. The goal made the score 2-1. Bautista Almendros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Benito Mandiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sisebuto Valdenebro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Mandiola was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 俞骋银 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Winkler in the 41st minute of play. Sisebuto Valdenebros short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Benito Mandiola to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 58 played minutes Cutihuano got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Goyenechea. 62 minutes into the match, Sisebuto Valdenebro notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cutihuano's Benito Mandiola. Benito Mandiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Sisebuto Valdenebro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bautista Almendros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Benito Mandiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cutihuano's Xavier Angel Amorini got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Sisebuto Valdenebro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 俞骋银 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Arriagada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Bautista Almendros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Mandiola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 91 minutes into the game, Sisebuto Valdenebro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Benito Mandiola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Mandiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentín Guzmán in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cobresal had played much better football throughout.
