Erasmo Barrueto started the match with the kick off. Vinos Oses kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes, U.De Chile's Albin Dalgalarrando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saturnín Larreta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U.De Chile reached it. If Robustiano Olano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albin Dalgalarrando charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Dalgalarrando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Albin Dalgalarrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes, UC-PGM's Horacio Jesus Ibarra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vladimiro Aliaga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UC-PGM reached it. When Ramón Basauri fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UC-PGM's protests and gave Ramón Basauri a yellow card for diving instead. Albin Dalgalarrando placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Saturnín Larreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bautista Marín in the 17th minute of the match. Carlos Saúl Alcayaga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Vladimiro Aliaga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rutenio Arrau kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bautista Marín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Saturnín Larreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bautista Marín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnín Larreta having to interfere. Bautista Marín struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Saturnín Larreta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.De Chile. The supporters of UC-PGM booed when U.De Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicent Monti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Aliaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Barrueto in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, U.De Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicent Monti to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Saúl Alcayaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Aliaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Saúl Alcayaga in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robustiano Olano to strike the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Olano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Robustiano Olano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnín Larreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinos Oses kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Olano in the 63rd minute of play forced UC-PGM's goalkeeper Saturnín Larreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Saúl Alcayaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The nice shot from Bautista Marín in the 67thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Saturnín Larreta had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Robustiano Olano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Saturnín Larreta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 70th minute, Robustiano Olano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saturnín Larreta, passed just outside the right post. 73 minutes into the match, UC-PGM's goalkeeper Saturnín Larreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bautista Marín. Robustiano Olano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnín Larreta having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Robustiano Olano managed to get in a good position for a shot. U.De Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Olano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnín Larreta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Aliaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Saúl Alcayaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Barrueto in the 94th minute of play forced U.De Chile's goalkeeper Vladimiro Aliaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Erasmo Barrueto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. U.De Chile were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
