Erasmo Quintana came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Campiche's Mario Alberto Mujica. But to his dismay, Mario Alberto Mujica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Juan Eduardo Ecija took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Quintana. Trincao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Natanael Gatica kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Remi Pedraza struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Erasmo Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campiche. Pedro Goncalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Grove having to interfere. Mario Alberto Mujica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Erasmo Quintana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutenio Mast was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remi Pedraza to make the kick off. A collision led to Trincao getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Natanael Gatica hit a great ball. Erasmo Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remi Pedraza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trincao's Erasmo Quintana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Trincao from getting a goal against them. If Pedro Goncalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
