Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Asier Arjona made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute Asier Arjona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Manuel Moyano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remi Pedraza in the 10th minute of the match. Mario Alberto Mujica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Linao's goal looked a bit too open when Remi Pedraza came free, but Carlos Manuel Moyano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Manuel Moyano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Mujica, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Francisco Antonio Droste fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campiche's protests and gave Francisco Antonio Droste a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Linao got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Grez. Linao's Carlos Manuel Moyano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remi Pedraza in the 41st minute of play. After 44 played minutes Linao got a freekick which was hit by Cristián Koch. Máximo Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asier Arjona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remi Pedraza to strike the kick off in the second half. Asier Arjona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Máximo Grove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Campiche's zone, Teobaldo Armenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Grove came out of the goal and Teobaldo Armenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Máximo Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Armenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Linao's Teobaldo Armenta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máximo Grove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Francisco Antonio Droste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Manuel Moyano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Teobaldo Armenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remi Pedraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carlos Manuel Moyano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Alberto Mujica struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Manuel Moyano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campiche. When Teobaldo Armenta came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Linao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Armenta couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Mario Alberto Mujica got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Remi Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, one of Campiche:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mario Alberto Mujica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Carlos Manuel Moyano made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Campiche players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Linao.
