Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Campiche's Remi Pedraza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimír Milroy in the 8th minute of play forced Campiche's goalkeeper Máximo Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Casimír Milroy came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the CORTAVIENTO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimír Milroy couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, CORTAVIENTO's Renato Canales got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Campiche got a freekick which was hit by Mario Alberto Mujica. Máximo Grove didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimír Milroy went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimír Milroy in the 20th minute of play forced Campiche's goalkeeper Máximo Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cipriano Marshall managed to get in a good position for a shot. CORTAVIENTO's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Marshall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Grove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimír Milroy in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cipriano Marshall managed to get in a good position for a shot. CORTAVIENTO's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Marshall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Grove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Faraggi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remi Pedraza in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Remi Pedraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Faraggi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviano Pantoja in the 38th minute of play forced Campiche's goalkeeper Máximo Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Antonio Droste charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Antonio Droste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Campiche got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Antonio Droste. Cipriano Marshall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute Renato Canales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Campiche players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CORTAVIENTO were winning 0-1.
53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Campiche's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horacio Raab was slow to take the kick. During this time CORTAVIENTO's players had a chance to rest. The corner led CORTAVIENTO's Horacio Raab to fire away a dangerous shot which Máximo Grove despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Campiche getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ambrosio Faure hit a great ball. Máximo Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Marshall in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Campiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Melgarejo to maneuver through the defense. CORTAVIENTO's Horacio Raab couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Campiche. Casimír Milroy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máximo Grove having to make a save. Máximo Grove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Marshall in the 80th minute. Casimír Milroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Grove having to interfere. Renato Canales took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máximo Grove. Máximo Grove dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, Cipriano Marshall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Máximo Grove, 0-3. Mario Alberto Mujica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CORTAVIENTO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
