Renato Canales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Orlondón Darricades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, CORTAVIENTO's Casimír Milroy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orlondón Darricades. Orlondón Darricades yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rosalio Mery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CORTAVIENTO's Casimír Milroy got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimír Milroy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimír Milroy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 27th minute of the match, Renato Canales got a very nice opportunity to score, but Orlondón Darricades was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Casimír Milroy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 32nd playminute. 34 minutes into the match, colo-colo's goal looked a bit too open when Casimír Milroy came free, but Orlondón Darricades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Renato Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Cipriano Marshall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CORTAVIENTO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Renato Canales struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Orlondón Darricades didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CORTAVIENTO. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Lavín to make the kick off. Armando Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Orlondón Darricades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Renato Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Cipriano Marshall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Renato Canales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Marshall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlondón Darricades having to interfere. If Renato Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Canales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlondón Darricades having to make a save. Renato Canales kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Orlondón Darricades made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimír Milroy in the 82nd minute of play. Orlondón Darricades took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimír Milroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
