In the 3rd minute Enzo Arduengo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Egaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogerio Saldivia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Andy Egaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Salomón Alejo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Parajalla's José Julio Acasuso. José Julio Acasuso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Enzo Arduengo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parajalla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 17 minutes, Adriel Armenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. One of Parajalla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huachipato FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Huachipato FC's Fulgencio Facuse got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of José Julio Acasuso. José Julio Acasuso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timeteo Huilcaman in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rogerio Saldivia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parajalla's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogerio Saldivia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Egaña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Bonomelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Huachipato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogerio Saldivia came free, but Andy Egaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogerio Saldivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Egaña having to interfere. Huachipato FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogerio Saldivia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 54th minute of the match Parajalla got a corner. Huachipato FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siluna Languard ran over to the corner to take the kick. 56 minutes into the game, Alesandro Arjona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Andy Egaña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Julio Acasuso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriel Armenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rogerio Saldivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Huachipato FC's zone, Rogerio Saldivia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Egaña came out of the goal and Rogerio Saldivia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo Lallane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Egaña having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Rogerio Saldivia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huachipato FC's Andy Egaña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Ezequiel Bonomelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parajalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Bonomelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogerio Saldivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Egaña having to interfere. Andy Egaña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Lallane in the 78th minute. Andy Egaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogerio Saldivia in the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salomón Alejo during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Parajalla made a substitution. Camilo Velez replaced Rafael Maria Ardura. After a rather tough play, Huachipato FC's Salomón Alejo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Andy Egaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Lallane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Parajalla could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Huachipato FC throughout the match.
