Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Natalio Melinao started the match with the kick off. Quinamavida AFC's Severiano Maritano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Enríquez in the 7th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Surire's Anselmo Enríquez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Maritano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Surire's Teodoro Ganter got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quinamavida AFC's zone, Anselmo Enríquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Maritano came out of the goal and Anselmo Enríquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Quinamavida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Abarca to maneuver through the defense. Quinamavida AFC's Severiano Maritano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Enríquez in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Quinamavida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Amor came free, but Severiano Maritano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Calvino Máximo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Justo Azpuru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinamavida AFC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Anselmo Enríquez made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Maritano. Quinamavida AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 41stth minute of the game Pedro Amor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quinamavida AFC's Severiano Maritano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Enríquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Quinamavida AFC's Felipe Cerda made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandro Mercado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Anselmo Enríquez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Severiano Maritano, passed just outside the right post. If Anselmo Enríquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Severiano Maritano managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Surire's Pedro Amor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the game, Pedro Amor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Severiano Maritano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Severiano Maritano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Amor came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Surire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Amor couldn't finish the play. Severiano Maritano was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Anselmo Enríquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Enríquez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Surire's Pedro Amor got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Quinamavida AFC's goalkeeper Severiano Maritano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Enríquez. 82 minutes into the game, Felipe Cerda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quinamavida AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surire the free kick. Felipe Cerda kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Surire's Naelio Mundaca tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alexandro Mercado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simón Gerbella in the 89th minute of the match. Pedro Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Maritano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Enríquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Surire players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
