Spectators: 6693 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabio Arévalo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pinone Almeyda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Llinua AFC's Jose Lermanda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Videla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Arévalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ermegildo Frei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pinone Almeyda struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Camilo Videla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llinua AFC. Jose Lermanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Videla having to interfere. A collision led to Llinua AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jacob Velasco hit a great ball. Pinone Almeyda scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Videla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Lermanda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Videla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Pinone Almeydas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Camilo Videla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camilo Videla made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Luis María Mendizabal sent off a good shot on target. Edmundo Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ermegildo Frei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Fabio Arévalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chanar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Arévalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th match minute, Llinua AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Gorriti to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Fabio Arévalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Frei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Lermanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Lermanda to make the kick off. Fabio Arévalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ermegildo Frei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Frei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Arévalo in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Llinua AFC's zone, Edmundo Ortega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Frei came out of the goal and Edmundo Ortega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, Llinua AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Marileo to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Edmundo Ortega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chanar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 72nd minute, Jacob Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llinua AFC's Ermegildo Frei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Arévalo in the 74th minute of play. Ermegildo Frei made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Edmundo Ortega sent off a good shot on target. Pinone Almeyda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Videla having to interfere. Jose Lermanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Camilo Videla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Chanar's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Lermanda came free, but Camilo Videla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
