The referee showed Tobías Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Abranquil FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tobías Velasco hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Huentemo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Guisado came free, but Edelmiro Rochefort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Alberto Chiquillo in the 43rd minute of play forced Huentemo AFC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Rochefort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peio Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Edelmiro Rochefort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabino Vache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Silvestre Tinoco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barni Maralla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Barni Maralla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Vache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Abranquil FC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Abranquil FC's Peio Fernández looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edelmiro Rochefort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Guisado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Abranquil FC booed when Huentemo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabino Vache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimír Costabal's late challenge caught a Abranquil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimír Costabal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Huentemo AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Casimír Costabal hit a great ball. 94 minutes in the game, Remigio Guisado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edelmiro Rochefort having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxín Daudet during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maxín Daudet kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Peio Fernández in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edelmiro Rochefort, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
