With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damián Ducoing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Submarino Amarillo's zone, Juan María Lama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damián Ducoing came out of the goal and Juan María Lama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes in the game, Julián Jackson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cristóbal Ascue having to interfere. Julián Jackson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cristóbal Ascue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remicio Bermúdez in the 31st minute. Damián Ducoing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Soza in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan María Lama in the 40th minute of play forced Submarino Amarillo's goalkeeper Damián Ducoing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

58 minutes into the match, Pachingo's Benito Soza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damián Ducoing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Siluna Echaurren's late challenge caught a Pachingo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan María Lama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damián Ducoing having to interfere. Robustiano Beiza hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Remicio Bermúdez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Submarino Amarillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remicio Bermúdez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute of the match Juan Ignacio Bassenge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristóbal Ascue showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan María Lama in the 81st minute of play forced Submarino Amarillo's goalkeeper Damián Ducoing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan María Lama was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benito Soza took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damián Ducoing. Damián Ducoing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
