Américo Celedón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Coloma, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 36th minute, Lucio Coloma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Aurelius Faure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saxamar 's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelius Faure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Celedón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Coloma took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Celedón. Américo Celedón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 45 played minutes Saxamar got a freekick which was hit by Aurelius Faure. 48 minutes into the match, Saxamar 's goal looked a bit too open when Danél Zorondo came free, but Teodor Roca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Panguilemo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saxamar were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Coloma made a kick off. If Simón Quinchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Danél Zorondo put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Teodor Roca. Teodor Roca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Teodor Roca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Larrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Guntademaro Caro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saxamar 's Teodor Roca did a great save. Saxamar 's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
