Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Danél Zorondo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Evaristo Larrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Juan Miguel Armanet made a huge save. Cauquenes's Juan Miguel Armanet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danél Zorondo in the 12th minute of play. Panguilemo FC's Danél Zorondo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaristo Larrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danél Zorondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Miguel Armanet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Cauquenes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evaristo Larrea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Danél Zorondo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Juan Miguel Armanet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panguilemo FC. Danél Zorondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Miguel Armanet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Américo Celedón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairon Echandia in the 43rd minute of play. Evaristo Larrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Miguel Armanet having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bairon Echandia to strike the kick off in the second half. Américo Celedón made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jerardo Arizmendi sent off a good shot on target. Américo Celedón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairon Echandia in the 54th minute of the match. Tomasino Sagredo's late challenge caught a Panguilemo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasino Sagredo helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Cauquenes got a freekick which was hit by Tomasino Sagredo. Danél Zorondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Miguel Armanet having to interfere. Jerardo Arizmendi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Cauquenes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Panguilemo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Bairon Echandia scored to the left of an out of position Américo Celedón, making the score, 0-2. Américo Celedón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairon Echandia in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Larrea in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Miguel Armanet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panguilemo FC's goalkeeper Américo Celedón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Panguilemo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noé Amadori to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Panguilemo FC's zone, Jerardo Arizmendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Celedón came out of the goal and Jerardo Arizmendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the game, Bairon Echandia lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Américo Celedón. The Cauquenes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cauquenes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
